Leaves On The Line

Our brilliant rail managers are taking no chances with this season's leaves-on-the-line crisis. 
This crisis, by tradition, arrives unexpectedly every year!!  Northern Rail has halved its train frequency between Oldham and Rochdale, a reduction from four to two trains an hour.  Under this miracle of customer service no extra carriages are being added to those that remain and, naturally, the journey times will be increased by at least 15 minutes!
